Holy Grace Campus, Mala, Thrissur, Kerala View mapSports & Management Research Institute (SMRI), India’s premier sports research, education and training institute in association with Holy Grace Group of Institutions, a leading education group in south India is organizing pan India “SPORTY QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIP” to celebrate the 141st birth anniversary of Indian Sports Goods Manufacturing Industry.
The Indian Sports Goods Manufacturing Industry originated on 13th April 1883 at Sialkot (now in Pakistan) with the inauguration of Oberoi Limited founded by Sardar Ganda Singh Oberoi.
The SPORTY QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIP aims to create awareness about the significance of sports and the sports Industry in the Indian economy and society.
SPORTY QUIZ will test your sports knowledge, self-confidence, speed and learning skills.
Categories
SPORTY QUIZ will be conducted for 3 categories
- Juniors– High school, higher secondary & ITI students (Max Age: 18 years)
- Seniors– College students, Polytechnic & Other students (Max Age: 25 years)
- Masters– General Public
Prizes
Winners and the educational institutions they represent will get total prizes worth 3Lakh Rupees including cash prizes.
Entry Fee
The registration fee for the SPORTY QUIZ is Rs. 99. The last date to register is December 24, 2023.
Levels
SPORTY QUIZ will have 3 levels.
Level 1- Qualifier
Level 1 is an online quiz and will be conducted on 2023 December 29 & 30. Once you complete your registration, you will get guidelines to attend the qualifier.
Rules and Regulations:
- There will be 50 questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- Time – 30 minutes
- No negative markings
- 26 marks to qualify
- The qualified candidates can participate in level 2
Level 2- Foundation
Level 2 will also be online and will be conducted on 2024 February 11 (Sunday)
Rules and Regulations:
- There will be 100 questions.
- Each question carries 3 marks
- Time – 60 minutes
- There will be negative marks (-1) for each wrong answer
- Top 16 participants from each category will be qualified for the Level 3
Level 3- Super Finals
Super Finals will be conducted on 2024 April 14 at Holy Grace Group of Institutions, Mala, Thrissur, Kerala
Rules and Regulations
Participants will get the guidelines once they qualify for the Super Finals
