Team SMRI has developed a range of innovative games to raise awareness and promote positive social behaviour, particularly among young people, in the fight against social evils such as drug abuse, suicide, and drink-and-drive incidents.
One of these innovations is a redesigned Snakes & Ladders board game, inspired by the traditional classic but reimagined to educate players about making responsible life choices.
SMRI has also created PAIBEE, an educational card game designed to create awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Inspired by the popular UNO card game, PAIBEE is a unique and engaging variant that combines fun with meaningful learning, helping young people understand the consequences of substance abuse while encouraging healthy decision-making.
Snakes & Ladders KNOCKOUT Tournament
Team SMRI organized the Snakes & Ladders KNOCKOUT Tournament for higher secondary students in schools across Thrissur district, Kerala, with the support of the Excise Department. Built around the theme, “Drugs Will Knock You Out of Life,” the tournament used an innovative version of the traditional Snakes & Ladders game to spread awareness about drug abuse and inspire students to choose a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
